I lost everything to a wall of water.

An earthquake and tsunami swept me out to sea. I landed on an island everyone believes a myth — Atlantis, and there is no escape. The Gods won’t allow you to leave, and they have to power to stop you.

I have a power too, one I can’t explain, and it only grows. If I use it that might lead them to Sydney. I can’t risk the Gods finding her.

My only friend and ally, Emily, keeps telling me to keep my head down and, above all, look normal.
