Mom’s don’t date. We don’t have the time or the money. Dating is for women without kids.

Mom’s live off romance novels and bags of stale chips. My kids are too important to screw this up.

This is what I tell myself.

I dated once and it made me a mom and then a single mom. I won’t do that again. So then why did I sleep with Dominic? That momentary lapse of reason careens out of control.

Now I can’t get rid of Dominic or stop thinking about him. Dating only leads to heartache. Don’t I know it.
